THANK YOU!

Our world premiere at the (in)famous Texas Theatre was a huge success! We had over 300 butts in seats, and we raised over $1,300 for charity! We could not be more proud of the great work that our cast and crew did, and we are very humbled that the audience really enjoyed the film. So… next steps.

We are in the process of making some tweaks that we noticed at the premiere, and then we are hitting the ground running with more festivals around the world. For details about our distribution bid, and for screening times and places, keep an eye on our Facebook Page!

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

We are a group of Texas filmmakers who’ve been earning our bones in the industry. Some of us are writers and directors, some are effects and makeup artists, and still others just want to produce some really fun films. We have come together to put together a film that will hopefully take our audience outside of their comfort zone and make them think about concepts like love, religion and survival in this world while entertaining them with one hell of a fun horror film!

Small towns have big secrets.

SACRAMENT is an exciting new horror film written and directed by Shawn Ewert (Jack’s Bad Day, Property Lines) of Right Left Turn Productions. The movie also features the talents of Justin Powers (Pot Zombies, Pot Zombies 2, Rockin’ Reverend) and special FX artists Hobbes LeCompte (Devotion), and Matthew Ash (Possum Walk, Imago, Christmas With the Dead). The cast includes horror genre veterans Marilyn Burns and Ed Guinn (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre) as well as many bright up-and-coming talents from around Texas and Oklahoma.

Leaving the city behind for a weekend of booze, bud and bonding at the coast, seven friends find themselves stranded en route to the south Texas coast when a big storm interferes with their plans. The town of Middle Spring is more than happy to welcome them with open arms, however; located in the rhinestone buckle of the Bible Belt, Middle Spring is smack-dab in the middle of a big barbecue and tent revival and there’s always room at their table for a few more warm bodies.

Unfortunately, no one in Middle Spring is exactly who they seem to be— this town takes the ‘body and the blood’ quite literally, and the friends have to stick together as time begins to run out and they realize that what’s on the menu may be closer to home than they suspected.
