We are pleased to announce our first screenings since our premiere in Dallas in June! We are extremely happy to be part of both of these festivals, and will be doing our best to attend both of them to talk with other film fans.
Our first announcement was from the Twisted Tails Film Festival in Dallas, TX. You can see their website here, but here is a little bit of information about the festival, and its great cause:
Twisted Tails Film Festival (TTFF) was born from our love of independent horror films and a devotion to homeless animals. We had hoped that by combining those two passions, we would be able to help bring some much needed attention to both. Having started in December 2011 as an annual festival with only one film, our venue is growing and we welcome you to join!
Our next announcement came from the wonderful folks at Bent-Con in Burbank, CA. Their site can be found here, but we wanted to give everyone a little insight into what they are about too:
The annual BENT-CON exposition brings together some of the best and brightest established and new creators (and companies) of LGBT and our Allies (UnGay) comic-books, gaming, sci-fi/fantasy/horror film-makers, writers, directors and other related creative mediums. In addition to the opportunity for public exposure and potential revenue the con provides to the attending creative talent, the event also allows less established talent to network from among their creative peers, providing unique opportunities for those that are just starting out.
BENT-CON prides itself on maintaining a safe environment, building relationships and community openly. Celebrating and acknowledging the presence and contributions of the creative works found from LGBT and UnGay creators.
